Solar Eclipse

Friday March 20th was a very exciting day. From 8.30am onwards, we were watching for signs of the partial solar eclipse which was due to happen over Northern Europe. Darren, Brianna and Mrs White made pinhole cameras, through which we were able to observe the beginning of the eclipse. Unfortunately, it became cloudy thereafter, but we did observe how dark and cold it became for 10 minutes or so and we observed the birds going to roost in the trees, because they thought it was evening-time!
